Photography (or, if you wish, photographers, as they are the ones who press the shutter release button) looks at and perceives the scenery of our Life differently: closer to or artistically detached from the reality, dynamically and impulsively or peacefully and quietly.  The Universe around us is so rich, abundant and sophisticated that everyone is free to see and to take photos of what he likes and what he would like to share with the others.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts.
(William Shakespeare)

Such familiar words, isn’t it? There is nothing to add. I think it just cannot be expressed better! Like every theatre has its scenery so do we, when we live, act, think, breathe and dream among different landscapes, situations and circumstances.

Up to now, landscape is the niche which I, as a photographer, practiced the least of all. Especially if we talk about the great large format Ebony camera (4x5 inch) which I bought purposely to take serene and contemplative photos for this album.
Besides, I am going to take just extraordinary panoramic pictures which no one took before. I decided to show here some works, just few of them.

I invite you to look at the photo works of this album now and to come back later to share with me my new works.

the silence & calm

Landscapes for me are, first of all, an excellent way to get some rest, to relax, contemplating the gorgeous scenery which makes our Life so beautiful. When taking pictures of a landscape, I try to “take a back seat”and to be just an observer rather than an actor, at least for some time.

However, as I already mentioned, I have just started working with landscapes so there is much to follow.

wrapped space

It is great happiness to bring your own contribution to the Eternal Plan of the Creator! Thanks to His benevolence, I got my mathematical education, which helped me to generate one interesting idea, while the unique skills and experience of a contemporary Kulibin (I won’t mention the real surname for the time being) allowed to use this idea to invent a special good format (5x7 inch) camera. The field tests are already being carried out and, if it’s God’s will, soon you will see the unusual and unique interpretation of so familiar and usual landscapes and sceneries.

In this album you will see the landscapes which are similar to none, “a landscape wrapped in itself”. I have no idea how to explain this. It’s better just to wait to see the first results.
